How the activity works
🗺️ Organisation & How it works
Before departure, a briefing is organised to go over the safety guidelines and the technical aspects of the activity. Getting to grips with the 2CV, road rules, route overview — within minutes, every crew is ready to hit the road with full confidence and total safety.
👥 Act 2 — Team Formation & Roadbook Distribution
Participants are divided into teams. Each team receives a roadbook containing all the information needed for the route. This roadbook — the 2CV adventurer's bible — contains the itinerary, riddles, mystery photos and cultural challenges. Let the race begin !
🚦 Act 3 — The Start — Adventure Awaits!
Cars depart in a defined order to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow. To the unmistakable sound of the Deuch's engine, crews set off along the lakeside roads and through the Bornes massif — heading for the most spectacular panoramas in all of Haute-Savoie !
🧩 Act 4 — The Road Adventure — Riddles, Mysteries & Challenges!
Armed with your roadbook, you must: follow the indicated itinerary, solve riddles and unravel mysteries, identify locations from photographs, and take on a variety of cultural challenges throughout the course.
Every bend reveals a new riddle, every panorama hides a clue — the 2CV becomes the vessel of an intellectual and sensory adventure where navigation, culture, deduction and team spirit combine in the most delightful of ways.
🏆 Act 5 — The Finish Line, Results & Prize-Giving!
The day closes with the announcement of results and the prize-giving ceremony for the best teams. A moment of collective celebration, shared laughter and the retelling of the best stories from the road — the 2CV Rally never truly ends, because the memories last so very long !

Do participants need a driving licence ?
Yes — the driver of each 2CV must hold a full driving licence (category B). Within each team of 4, roles distribute naturally — driver, co-pilot, navigator, investigator — everyone contributes to their crew's victory in their own way.
Do you need previous experience driving a 2CV ?
Not at all ! The 2CV is an approachable and loveable car that takes minutes to master. The technical briefing covers all the quirks of this legendary vehicle — its clutch, gearbox and famous suspension will hold no secrets after just a few moments of instruction !
How many people per 2CV ?
Each 2CV accommodates a team of 4 people. This intimate configuration naturally fosters complicity, communication and the complementarity of talents within each crew.
How long does the 2CV Rally last ?
The 2CV Rally runs over a half-day (approximately 3 to 4 hours), including the briefing, staggered departure, the route and the final prize-giving ceremony. It fits perfectly into a full seminar day or can stand alone as a memorable incentive experience.
Does the route only follow the lake ?
No ! The route takes in both the lakeside roads of Lake Annecy and the roads of the Bornes massif — offering a rich variety of landscapes and environments that enrich the experience throughout the rally.
Are the 2CVs insured ?
Yes — all vehicles provided by Takamaka are fully insured and in perfect working order. All technical and regulatory arrangements are handled by the Takamaka team before departure.
