Ever heard of a paret? It's the traditional sled of the Aravis mountains, fitted with a single metal runner, once used by local children to glide down to the village. Light, manoeuvrable and fast, it offers an authentic and unique experience on the snowy slopes of Haute-Savoie.

Our team advises you on the best slopes accessible to parets around Annecy. Please note: not all ski lifts allow paret use — check with your chosen resort before you go.
A €100 security deposit per paret is required by credit card imprint. Please note that not all ski lifts allow parets — check with the resort before heading out. A personal vehicle is needed to reach the ski areas. The activity is open to everyone aged 10 and over. Make sure to bring warm, waterproof clothing.

What is a paret?

How much does it cost?
€10 per paret per day. A €100 deposit by credit card imprint is required.
