How the activity works

With our electric bikes, we meet you at our boutique in the Vieille Ville. This time, you set off for the ascent with the help of electric assistance, then tackle the full descent. A complete experience that allows you to live the full mountain adventure — a smooth, assisted ascent and an adrenaline-fuelled descent — without excessive physical demands.
🏔️ Step 2 — The Full Descent — From the Summit to Annecy!
You're now fully ready for the full descent to Annecy. From the 1,700 metres of the Semnoz, wheels roll onto forest trails and Alpine paths — tight bends, woodland passages, clearings with lake views and long straights that make the tyres sing. An epic descent, punctuated by shouts of excitement and mutual encouragement between colleagues. It's hard to imagine a better way to end a group outing !

Do participants need to be experienced cyclists ?
Not at all ! The activity offers the pleasure of riding together without any particular physical requirements. Electric bikes make the ascent accessible to everyone, and instructors teach the basic descent techniques before departure. The activity is perfectly calibrated for a mixed corporate group — seasoned cyclists and complete beginners can share the same outing.
Is all equipment provided ?
Mountain bikes and helmets are all provided by Takamaka. Gloves and protective gear can also be made available on request. Comfortable, sport-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes are recommended.
Are professional instructors present throughout ?
Yes ! Instructors kit participants out and teach the basic MTB descent techniques at the summit. They accompany the group throughout the entire descent to ensure the safety and enjoyment of every participant, regardless of their cycling experience.
Is the outing available all year round ?
The MTB outing is primarily offered in spring, summer and autumn, when the Semnoz trails are clear and conditions are ideal. Takamaka advises on the best timing based on your chosen dates.
