FAQ

Which discipline should you choose : wakeboarding, wakesurfing, or water skiing?

Wakeboarding is the most popular discipline—fixed board, tricks, and maneuvers. Wakesurfing is done without ropes, surfing the natural wave created by the boat—a sensation similar to surfing on a lake. Waterskiing is done with two skis or a monoski—more traditional, ideal for speed and turns. Your instructor will guide you according to your skill level and preferences.

Do you need to have practiced before?

No — private lessons are available to beginners and experienced swimmers alike, children and adults. The state-certified instructor adapts their advice and teaching to each participant's level. However, knowing how to swim is mandatory.

How many people can participate in 1 hour ?

The private booking is for a group of 10 people — the duration of 1 hour is shared between all participants.

From what age can one practice?

Children are welcome from the age of 8, provided they know how to swim. The instructor adapts the disciplines and equipment for younger children — wakesurfing is often particularly popular with them due to its gentle sensations.

Where is the Back to Bones pontoon ?

The Back to Bones pontoon is located directly on Lake Annecy. The exact address and access information will be provided upon booking. Transportation to the pontoon is not included in the price.
