FAQ
What is the difference between wakesurfing and wakeboarding?
In wakeboarding, you're strapped to a board and towed by a rope. In wakesurfing, there's no rope — you surf freely on the wave created by the boat's wake, just like a real surf wave. It's smoother, more accessible and highly addictive!
Do I need surfing experience to go wakesurfing?
Some experience in a sliding sport (wakeboarding, surfing, snowboarding, skateboarding) is recommended. Wakesurfing requires a bit more balance than wakeboarding, but your instructor will guide you every step of the way.
Is swimming ability required?
Yes, swimming ability is mandatory for wakesurfing. A safety vest is provided and worn throughout the session.
What is included in the wakesurf session?
The session includes 15 minutes of riding, full equipment (wakesurf board, wetsuit and safety vest) and supervision by a state-certified instructor.
What do I need to bring?
Just bring a swimsuit and a towel. Everything else is provided!
