From the Takamaka shop in the heart of Annecy's old town, set off to conquer the most beautiful mountain passes in the Alps: Col de la Forclaz, the ascent of Semnoz, Col de Leschaux… or simply enjoy a ride around Lake Annecy on a high-performance bike perfectly adjusted to your body.

A €500 security deposit is required via credit card imprint on the day of rental. Remember to book in advance, especially during the summer. If you have your own clipless shoes, bring them along: we'll install your pedals for free, and we have them in stock (Look and Shimano) — just mention it when booking.

What size cyclist does size XL correspond to?
Size XL is suitable for cyclists over 1.85m tall. For other heights, we also offer sizes XS (under 1.55m), S (1.55m–1.65m), M (1.65m–1.75m), and L (1.75m–1.85m). If you have any questions, our team is available to advise you in store or by phone.
Do you need to be an experienced cyclist?
Prior road cycling experience is recommended. A carbon road bike is a high-performance bike designed for the road—mountain climbs, long distances, and sporty rides. It's also an excellent opportunity to discover road cycling if you've never ridden one before. If you have any doubts, our team can guide you toward other types of bikes.
What is included in the rental ?
The Pulsium carbon road bike (size XL), helmet, repair kit (inner tube + tire levers), pump, and bottle cage. Route advice from the team is also included — and that's often the best investment of the day !
Are clipless pedals available ?
Yes! We have clipless pedals in stock (Look and Shimano models), available as an option—please specify this when booking as stock is limited. If you have your own shoes and pedals, bring them along: our team will install them on the bike free of charge.
Do I need to book in advance ?
Yes, booking is highly recommended, especially in summer and on weekends. Book online or by phone at +33 4 50 45 60 61. We accept bookings all year round.
What is the required deposit ?
A deposit of €500 per bicycle is required via credit card imprint on the day of rental. It is released upon return of the bicycle in good condition.
