🎯 Phase 1 — Introduction to Shooting: Precision First
The activity unfolds progressively: in the first stage, shooting is straightforward — participants focus simply on the precision of their shots and familiarise themselves with the rifles.
Positioning, aiming, controlled breathing — the Takamaka instructors teach the fundamentals of rifle shooting in a relaxed and educational atmosphere. The first targets hit generate an immediate sense of satisfaction and a contagious surge of confidence throughout the group !
🏆 Phase 2 — Shooting Under Real Conditions: True Biathlon!
Then the shooting progressively mirrors real competition biathlon: shooting without a stand, out of breath, standing, and then under stress management conditions during challenges. The result: a genuine biathlon experience — in great spirits throughout !
This is where the magic of biathlon truly works — shooting while breathless after physical exertion, managing competitive pressure, controlling your breathing in front of the target. A perfect metaphor for the corporate world, lived in the snow and with plenty of laughter !

Do you need prior rifle shooting experience ?
Not at all ! The activity is original, prestigious, fun and accessible — designed to appeal to everyone: sporty participants and non-sporty alike. Takamaka instructors walk every participant through the basics of rifle shooting during a progressive and supportive initiation phase. Zero experience required — just concentration and a willingness to give it a go !
Do you need to know how to ski ?
No ! You can opt for snowshoes instead of skis. Snowshoeing is accessible to everyone without any particular skill and allows the entire group to participate regardless of skiing ability. The choice between skis and snowshoes is made based on your group's level and preferences.
Are the rifles safe to use ?
The competition rifles used are air-powered rifles — they do not use real ammunition and are completely safe for supervised use. Qualified instructors maintain constant safety supervision over all participants at the shooting range throughout the session.
Can a proper challenge with team rankings be organised ?
Absolutely ! Stress management challenges and an official final ranking are organised to add a competitive edge and create genuine collective emulation. The final prize-giving is always a festive and memorable celebration.
Is all equipment provided ?
Takamaka provides the competition rifles, air-compressed ammunition, snowshoes or skis depending on the chosen format, and all necessary safety equipment. Participants should wear warm, waterproof mountain-appropriate clothing.
Is the Biathlon available in a summer version ?
Yes ! A summer biathlon also exists — on roller skis or combining running and rifle shooting. Contact Takamaka to discover the formats available depending on your seminar season.
