Where to practice ?
We have 3 different practice sites for sled dogs. You can practice in La Giettaz or Manigod in the Aravis or Margeriaz in the Bauges.
How many can we be per sled ?
It all depends on the specificities of each musher, but it is mainly a question of weight: the sleds will not be able to accommodate more than 200 kg. This represents about 2 or 3 adults.
Who can participate?
You can go for a sleigh ride from 1 year old, and you don't need to be a great sportsman to enjoy a nice ride
What is the difference between the ride and the driving ?
During the ride, you sit in the musher's sled, he drives the sled for you: you can enjoy the landscape.
If you want to drive, you will have your own little sled with about 4 dogs. Be careful, it's a lot of sport ! You may have to push the sled a little on the way up to help the dogs. The activity is for 12 years old and up.
