What exactly is canyoning ?
Canyoning is a natural activity related to caving, hiking, climbing and mountaineering on the one hand, and white water sports on the other hand. It consists in progressing in the bed of a river, in portions where the river goes through gorges or narrow ravines, with waterfalls of various heights, successions of jumps and slides.
From when can I practice ?
You will be practicing in rivers, so beware of the cold! Don't worry, we provide you with wetsuits. The canyoning season often starts in May, at the end of the ice melt, so that the river has regained a normal flow.
What are the differences between the courses ?
The courses we offer are different and adapted for different levels. If you are a beginner, we recommend the Angon canyon, which offers a great first experience.
For the more athletic or experienced, you can try the Canyon de Montmin, with more swimming and physicality. The most physical and aquatic is the Pont du diable canyon.
How should I be equipped ?
Bring your swimsuit and spiked shoes as well as a towel. We will provide you with a helmet, wetsuit and harness.
Is it accessible for beginners ?
Yes, no problem! The Angon canyon is accessible from 8 years old, for beginners.
