Description
🪂 After the initiation course, it's time for the progression course — the next step towards fully autonomous paragliding in Annecy, from just €810! Over 5 days, you deepen your paragliding skills by exploring a whole new range of knowledge: weather, aerology, advanced piloting and site selection 🏔️✨. With guidance and theoretical and practical expertise from your state-certified instructor, you gradually build genuine autonomous pilot experience, up to FFVL pilot certificate level 🎓. Groups of 7 students maximum, available outside July and August!

The progression course is reserved for students who have already completed an initiation course 🪂. It runs over 5 days, with the first day starting at 8:00 AM. Groups are limited to a maximum of 7 students. All equipment is provided: CEN-certified wing, harness, reserve parachute, helmet and radio. Transport to the training site is not included. A FFVL insurance and licence are mandatory — available online on the FFVL website. Bring solid closed-toe shoes, a windproof jacket, sunglasses and weather-appropriate clothing. Course available outside July and August. In case of unfavourable weather, we reserve the right to adapt the programme for your safety ⛅.

Each day, your instructor shares advanced knowledge: weather reading, aerology, in-flight situation management — the keys to becoming an autonomous pilot ✏️

Do I need to have completed the initiation course to join the progression course?
Yes, the progression course is reserved for students who have already completed a paragliding initiation course. If you're a complete beginner, start with our 5-day initiation course!
What is the difference between the initiation and progression courses?
The initiation course gives you the foundations of free flight. The progression course allows you to deepen your piloting skills, gain advanced knowledge in weather and aerology, and progress towards full autonomy and the FFVL pilot certificate.
What equipment is provided during the course?
All equipment is included: CEN-certified wing, harness, reserve parachute, helmet and radio.
