The electric mountain bike session on the Semnoz is accessible to participants with a minimum height of 1m50, good physical fitness and comfort on a bike or MTB on varied terrain 🚵. The session lasts 2h30 to 3h depending on the group's pace. All equipment is provided: electric mountain bike, helmet, gloves, knee and elbow pads 🛡️. Bring sports clothing (long-sleeved top recommended, shorts, trainers) and a backpack with water and snacks. The activity is weather-dependent — we reserve the right to adapt or cancel the session if necessary ⛅.

With the private guide formula, your instructor is exclusively dedicated to your group: a custom route, 100% flexible pace, personalised technical coaching and access to the Semnoz's best spots. In the classic outing, the guide leads a shared group on a common itinerary. Here, everything is built around you.
Is the e-bike included in the price?
No, the price from €150 covers only the private guide coaching. The e-MTB, helmet and protective gear can be rented as an add-on for €50 per person. Feel free to contact us to book your rental at the same time as your outing.
Do I need prior mountain biking experience?
Some prior cycling experience on varied terrain is recommended. Your guide will fully adapt the route to your level — whether you're a confident beginner or an experienced rider — but you should be comfortable on a bike and not afraid of descents.
How many people can join this private outing?
The outing is fully privatised for your group. Whether you are 2, 3 or more, the guide is exclusively dedicated to you. For larger groups, please contact us so we can organise the logistics properly.
How long does the private guide outing last?
The outing lasts between 2h30 and 3h, depending on your pace and preferences. One of the key advantages of the private formula is total flexibility: go faster, take more breaks, or linger on your favourite sections — it's entirely up to you.
Is transport to the Semnoz included?
No, transport to the activity site is not included. The Semnoz is easily accessible by car from Annecy (approximately 20 minutes). Contact us when booking for the exact meeting point details.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Participant safety is our absolute priority. In case of unfavourable weather (rain, slippery terrain, storms), Takamaka reserves the right to adapt the route or cancel the outing. A reschedule or refund will be offered in that case.
